Body work FAQ

Do you treat chronic pain/injuries?

Yes! We treat reoccurring, long lasting, and recent injuries. We work from the root of the problem to make sure you have long lasting relief. We take all of your past treatments, current lifestyle, and future goals into account when creating a treatment plan that is best for you and your body.

How should I prepare for my first treatment?

Plan to arrive at your first treatment 15-20 minutes early to fill out paperwork and get settled. Drink a lot of water prior to your appointment and wear comfortable clothing. Try to not eat about an hour before your session so you're not lying face down on a full belly.

What should I expect from my first session?

You can expect to feel some major relief after the first session. Some injuries take a few sessions to really see more prominent results. Remember to stay hydrated after your session and take your time getting off the table. Massages induce a huge release of toxins and tension that can sometimes give you a light headed feeling. If you workout daily, try to refrain from doing so for the 24 hours following your treatment to give your body time to rest and reset.
